What the City of Alice asks of each vendor

Who can sell here.

  1. No City license needed

    Farm products in their natural state, like produce, watermelons, peaches and citrus, and fundraisers where all the money goes to a charity, school or church. You can even sell off your truck. Book a day or a weekend.

  2. Food trucks

    Bring the approvals your truck needs to operate in Alice, plus your health and fire requirements.

  3. Everyone else: a City vendor license

    The City of Alice itinerant vendor license costs $100 a calendar month, up to six months a year. It allows one stand up to 30 inches by 6 feet, no sales from a vehicle, and no sales after 7 pm. We give you the owner paperwork the City asks for: a signed permission letter for your dates, your space and restroom use, and a site plan of your spot.

Seasonal sellers: the license runs by calendar month, so start your booking on the 1st and pick your best months, like Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, back to school or Christmas.

    Place day, week or month blocks on the calendar. Mix them and see your total before submitting.

  2. Sign once. Request.

    Complete your profile, agreement and payment authorization in the booking flow. If online access is unavailable, call us for help.

  3. Approved, then paid

    Only the date blocks we approve are charged, upon approval. Changed dates or prices need your acceptance first. Paid, approved dates appear as confirmed.

How do weeks and months work?

A week is 7 consecutive days, including weekends. A month runs from the date you choose to the day before the same date next month, so a month that starts on the 1st covers the whole calendar month, the same way the City’s vendor license works. The calendar shows the exact start, end and price of each block before you request it. Book individual days if you only need selected dates.

What if I miss days or need different dates?

You reserve time, not attendance credits. Missed or unused time is not prorated or automatically refunded or credited. Replacement dates or discounted rebooking require separate written approval and availability. Individual days are not automatically refundable either.

What approvals and paperwork do I need?

North Point approves your dates, setup and electrical needs. Before you open, we check your City approval: your itinerant vendor license, your food truck’s operating approvals, or the basis for your exemption (farm products in their natural state, or all proceeds to charity). We also check your insurance and your Texas sales tax permit or exemption. For a license application, we give you a signed owner permission letter, which covers your restroom use, and a site plan of your spot. Each business remains responsible for its own taxes and compliance.

Read and sign the agreement in the booking flow. Reuse it for the same business while that version remains current.
